It's the year, 7022, and an intelligent alien of a different species accidentally crashed onto Earth. She needs to find shelter, disguise herself as a human, learn to speak English, and then try her best to survive.
Chapter 1: Unexpected Arrival
As the shuttlecraft careened through the atmosphere, Lyra's eyes flickered with panic. Her species' advanced navigation system should have prevented this catastrophic miscalculation. But it was too late now; the craft's hull groaned under the pressure of re-entry. The last remnants of her planet's forests and skies gave way to a swirling blue-green expanse, and Lyra braced for impact.
The shuttle finally came to rest in a tangled mess of twisted metal, spewing debris across a lush, green meadow. Lyra stumbled out, her four limbs trembling as she took stock of her surroundings. The air was thick with unfamiliar scents, and the sounds were a cacophony of strange melodies. Her large, black eyes scanned the horizon for any signs of life, but all seemed quiet. What have I done? How will I survive here?
Lyra's kind had long observed Earth from afar, studying its inhabitants, their languages, and their cultures. But no amount of preparation could fully prepare her for this reality. She needed to find shelter, food, and a way to communicate with these humans. Her species' technology was beyond human comprehension, but she hoped that some basic principles might still apply.
With an air of determination, Lyra set off across the meadow, her long, slender body swaying slightly as she moved. She had no idea what lay ahead, only that she must adapt to this new world and find a way back home. This is it; I am on my own.
As she walked, Lyra's gaze drifted toward the nearby trees, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze. For the first time since her crash, a glimmer of hope emerged: perhaps the humans who inhabited these lands would not be as vastly different from her own kind as she had feared. I will learn to be human.
